Spirit of the Gulf

In October 2024, Spirit of the Gulf represented Region 9 at the International Convention in Kansas City, MO. They proudly finished 8th with a score of 2616

We are so extremely proud to have SAI's new 2024 Diamond Division Champs and Rising Star Champs belong to the Region 9 family: Bubbly and Radiant quartet!!! A huge honorable mention to the 2nd place medalist in the Diamond Division Shine! quartet.

In May of 2024 “Toast of Tampa Show Chorus” became the new Regional Large Chorus. In October 2025 they will be representing Region 9 at the International Convention in Columbus, Ohio

In September, 2022 there was a convention held in Phoenix, AZ for the first time since 2019. Representing Region 9, our quartet Duly Noted competed, and made it to the finals as the 7th place quartet in the world. Spirit of the Gulf Chorus represented Region 9, and also made the finals, finishing 5th place in the world! Congratulations to both of our region representatives, Duly Noted and Spirit of the Gulf, and to all competitors that crossed the stage!

In April, 2022, a regional convention was held in Daytona Beach for the first time since 2019. We would like to thank every competitor that crossed the stage. It was such a joy to be together again, and YOU made it happen!

Toast of Tampa, Overall Champions and Division AA Midsize Chorus Winner

It is a pleasure to give the Buzz Award to our dear friends, Bling. They have made beautiful music together for so many years and have had such a positive impact on singers, quartets, regions, and our whole organization. We thank them for their many contributions through these years.

A CAPPELLA BAY CHORUS

A Cappella Bay Chorus is excited to announce their new frontline director, Lisa Williams!

Lisa is the former director of Venetian Harmony Chorus and Associate/Assistant Director of Toast of Tampa Show Chorus.  With 23 years of experience as a Sweet Adeline, Lisa has a wealth of knowledge and skills to bring to our chorus.  She currently sings Bass with Ladybug Quartet, 3rd Place Region 9 Medalists. Lisa is a dynamic performer, arranger, and sought after coach for choruses, quartets and singers.
