2019 - Sweet Adelines International Contest New Orleans

Coastal Harmony is delighted to have wonderful representation in the upcoming Sweet Adelines International Contest in New Orleans! Beginning on Tuesday, September 17th with the Harmony Classic contest: Bridges of Harmony, under the direction of Kim Higdon. Then on Wednesday, the Quartet Semi-Finals: our current Regional Quartet Champion - Ringtones, Wild Card contest and current Rising Star Champions, Duly Noted, returning competitor and current International Silver medalists, Viva!, and Take 4! quartet. Thursday is the Chorus Semi-Finals and our 2018 Regional Chorus Champions, Toast of Tampa Show Chorus!

2019 - Sweet Adelines International

We are absolutely delighted to report that all of our quartets that participated in Sweet Adelines International's 2019 Rising Star Quartet Contest in Manchester, England have come home with an outstanding showing and memories that will last a lifetime! The three quartets, all vibrant and talented singers have bright futures.

Several of these young women are graduates of the Gaither HIgh's music program and studied with the incomparable Debbie Cleveland. The proud teacher and champion Sweet Adeline in her own right was on hand to support these groups.

We have a vibrant youth membership and several active quartets with many of their members also active in a chorus. Coastal Harmony is home to THREE fantastic young quartets headed to the Sweet Adelines International Rising Star Contest on July 27, at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, England! This contest is open to young women ages 25 and under.

Harmony on the Beach 2019

Join us in beautiful Daytona Beach, Florida for our 2019 Annual Convention & Contest - Harmony on the Beach. The convention begins with the Thursday Night Live show at the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort presented by the Top Hat Club. Friday, April 11th offers an exciting quartet contest with 24 competitors and an appearance by the 2019 Sweet Adelines International Silver Medalists: Viva! This record-breaking Coastal Harmony champion quartet will also be singing an outgoing package at the conclusion of the quartet contest, and we hear Viva!’s USO show is making a stop on our Saturday night show at the Hilton.

Sweet Adelines Convention 2018 St. Louis!

Wow, what a convention! Coastal Harmony Region 9 was so very well represented at the Sweet Adelines International annual contest 2018 in Saint Louis, MO.

The week opened with Women of Note chorus competing in the Mid-Sized Chorus Contest, “Harmony Classic”, placing 5^th overall.

Then on Thursday, Spirit of the Gulf chorus competed in the
International Division Chorus Semi-Finals Contest and placed 19^th overall.
